Capitata Carnival is a beautiful air plant with long, thick leaves. Carnival has a red/purple hue to it's green leaves when under indirect light. The more light it receives, the more color it will have. Most people in North America can expect a redder hue during the summer and greener during the winter. The closer to the equator, the stronger the sun, the redder the leaves; however, do not put it in direct full sun. Once the plant blushes, the rosette will open and leaves will turn a bright red with small purple flowers. This stunning air plant is the perfect center piece.
