Condition: This Curta calculator is an exceptional piece, because it is a 1949 model, which has all the features of the very rare early design like rounded pin slider knobs (instead of the rectangular ones of the later design). This Curta calculator is in great working order. It is very clean and all of the mechanical parts function perfectly, smoothly and crisp as being new. It operates correctly in every way even with negative crank turns, the ten-carrying mechanism works correctly in every position of the carriage. I performed the testing procedures outlined on the curta.org website and everything is how it is expected. As can be seen in the photographs, this fine instrument itself is in exceptionally good condition with only a few and light signs of use and appears to have been rarely used.
