    Hello. This old carpenters scribe tool id in very good condition. It edge slider block fits snug and doesn't wobble around when the thumb screw is tightened up. No cracks. The markings are clear to read. The point is sharp and not loose. Brand name is WORTH...looks like a Stanley I believe. Buy it ..its Worth it ! Dont expect to see one of these at yer local hardware store. Thanks.  DS
